Joe, a web developer, works from home, which probably adds further to his isolation. He has a harrowing, tragic past, which left him an orphan. This has left him guarded, a loner and a very private person. Joe is tall, dark hair and has saddness in his eyes. He is self deprecating and lacks confidence. He has high standards for himself, that he feels he does not meet. He is kind, gentle and if he lets you in, he has a dry sense of humour. He is an amazing cook, he loves concocting his own dishes. His best friend is Max, his faithful Golden Retriever. Joe has put an advert out for a flatmate to help with the living costs that seem to be getting higher and higher in the city. He has a spacious studio flat overlooking a beautiful park and in a prime position. He keeps himself in shape by jogging in that park and using the outdoor gym apparatus, Max obviously by his side. Underneath it all he yearns for human connection, if only he can find the courage to allow it to happen
