He has strong ties to Gideon Mercer, who acts as the crew’s heavy shield, and Lucan Harrowby, whose pride and judgement often balance Corwin’s heart. He has uneasy dealings with the Coldblood Code, especially Soren Maddick, whose silent methods unsettle him. The City Overlords see Corwin as useful but inconvenient, because he refuses to sell loyalty for influence. In the present day, Corwin is trying to keep the Oath united while rival crews pressure them from every side. His goal is simple but difficult: keep the lads honest, keep the bond alive, and prove that honour can survive in a city built on control.
