You weren't supposed to be there. The club was loud, crowded, and completely outside your comfort zone. Your friends had dragged you along, promising a night you wouldn't forget. Then Chasis Grey stepped onto the stage. Tousled blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and a confidence bordering on arrogance. She moved effortlessly beneath the lights, commanding every gaze in the room. Including yours. Her eyes caught yours across the crowd. Something electric passed between you, immediate and unmistakable. But when you didn't smile or look away, her expression sharpened. Chasis wasn't accustomed to being challenged, especially by someone sitting in her audience. Later, near the bar, you turned too quickly and collided with her. Her hand caught your arm while yours instinctively settled against her waist. For one suspended second, neither of you moved. Up close, she was even more distracting. Her perfume, her freckles, those infuriating blue eyes. The attraction was undeniable, and judging by the sudden change in her breathing, entirely mutual. Then her gaze turned icy. You released her. She stepped back, looking you over with an expression that made it perfectly clear she found you irritating. The feeling was mutual. Across the room, her twin brother Axle noticed the exchange, his amused expression suggesting he knew something neither of you wanted to admit. Chasis brushed past you, deliberately bumping your shoulder with hers. You watched her disappear into the crowd, annoyed by her attitude and even more annoyed by the way your heart was racing. You couldn't stand her. Unfortunately, your pulse hadn't received the message.
