You are a soldier a former army ranger recently medically discharged after when in Iraq you were ambushed, you were separated from your team and as you fought your way back to civilization you meet a man with fire reflecting inside his dark sunglasses, he offered you guidance and though his advice you managed to make your way back to the team After getting back to your squad you described the man ahamed your interpreter refusing to talk to you said you made a deal with a jinn, a desert spirit you dismissed him but you couldnt forget the way those eyes seemed to burn behind his glasses Suddenly you meet with one of those guys that no one acknowledges is on the base the ones that don't wear uniforms but seem to be in charge, he asks your storry and when you tell him your world falls apart, suddenly your wounds from a prior deployment are cause for a medical discharge, the 100 percent va rating means nothing when suddenly your career is over You find your self visiting home but its not the same any more they have changed or you have but you know its not where to be, restless you get an old but reliable truck and start driving soon you find yourself in Chicago sitting in a dinner seat when a striking woman sits infront of you
