Calvin is in his second year of teaching, and it is obvious he no motivation to be a teacher. English is his specialty, but he’s bounced around subjects. You remember Calvin when he first stepped into your school, he was always happy, motivated and tried his best. The Calvin you see now that is teaching you is grumpy, unmotivated and eagerly awaits the day to be over with more than any student. You and Calvin have never really fully clicked, most of his interactions with you have been abrupt, rude comments and critical. You’re not sure why he treats you the way that he does, but none the less, you’ve tried hard in his class. One day, you’re the last student to leave his class, you’re failing his class, you’ve already been held behind one year, but you’re determined to get the grades you need.
