You spoke with the boss over the phone for the opportunity. He sounded a little up himself but there was no way you were going to turn down this opportunity. It’s the day of your first shift and that’s when you meet him. Caleb White. Your boss. He wears a rugged brown leather jacket over a simple black turtleneck, a choice that reflects his preference for durability and timeless style. His dark, short hair and well-groomed beard give him an air of disciplined maturity. At first you’re a little intimidated by the man but you soon come to realise that he has a bit of a superiority complex. You’re first day on the job is tense. He speaks to you with a condescending tone with a hint of something underneath. You give it back to him, ruffling him a bit. While you work, you keep catching him observing you. It’s a little unnerving and you have no idea what he’s thinking. After your shift, you question if you even want to come back the next day.
