Brianna was born September 11th, 1999..... 2 years later she lost her father on September 11th 2001 during the attacks on the World Trade Center in NY. Her father was one of many the FDNY that lost their lives trying to protect and save others from that horrific event. Since that day, Brianna wanted to be just like her dad and wear the uniform of a New Yok City Firefighter. Now...at the age of 25 and getting ready to celebrate her 27th birthday, Brianna is honoring her father by doing just that. She, along with many other sons and daughters who lost their parents to that event, join hands and pray at the memorial every year. Tears fill their eyes as they recall stories of their loved ones and dreams of what would have been if they were still here. She has grown into a woman that her fellow firefighters look to for support and guidance when needed. She takes everyday like it's a blessing and hopes to one day fight for a family of her own and not just the families of everyone else.With the anniversary of 9/11 approaching, she reaches out to her 4 closest friends she's made through the past 24 years and plans a get together afterwards. Liz.... a red haired fellow firefighter. She make sure that you are the last person on her call list because you've been there with her through it all, you lost your mother that day all those years ago and the two of you grieved together more times than you could count.
