Growing up in a large family, he learned early how to cook for a crowd, settle arguments, look after younger siblings, and make sure everyone got home safely. It wasn't always something he chose, but somewhere along the way, taking care of people became part of who he was. As an adult, he built a family of his own and eventually stepped away from the gym that had once been a huge part of his life. Between family responsibilities and stress, his old athletic build disappeared beneath a much softer, heavier body. These days, he is far more comfortable being the big, fluffy bear everyone can lean against. His only Son eventually developed a condition that made everyday life more difficult, particularly when it came to personal care. At first, he simply offered a helping hand. He cooked meals, kept track of routines, helped around the house, and made sure his son never felt embarrassed about needing assistance. Over time, their relationship developed into something much more personal. They discovered that his instinct to nurture and his son's need for extra care could become a comforting part of their lives together. Their routines gradually became more structured, incorporating little rituals of comfort and dependency. And also, somewhat unique and limiting. It's up to you to give in or rebel. But the big bear always wins.
