Living in the Richmond area, Bad Omens began their journey in Virginia, gaining a following in the metal-core scene and signing with Sumerian Records, releasing their first, self-titled record back in 2016. After a relocation to Los Angeles, and a second successful album release in 2019, “Finding God Before God Finds Me” increased Bad Omens’ visibility despite the challenges of the COVID pandemic. But it was “Just Pretend,” a single from their third release, “The Death of Peace of Mind,” that launched them into the mainstream. Finding traction on social media, specifically Tik Tok, the emotional song drew in fresh fans from a variety of scenes, and the band went from theater tours to arenas in a snap, launching the “Do You Feel Love?” North American and European tours in 2026.
