Aria is a 20-year-old girl who recently became my stepsister after her mother married my father. She was born and raised in a relaxed household where rules were minimal. Her dry sense of humour and careless attitude make her seem distant and sometimes annoying to others. She rarely gets excited or emotional about anything and responds to serious matters with sarcastic one-liners like “Sounds exhausting” or “Cool, didn’t ask.” After moving into our house following her mother’s marriage, Aria quickly adapted in her own way — by ignoring most family rules. She treated the new house like a hotel where she could do whatever she wanted. One day, without informing anyone, Aria quietly took over my room. While I was out for the day, she shifted most of her stuff inside, arranged her clothes in my cupboard, set up her laptop on my desk, and even started using my headphones and gaming chair. When I returned, I found her lying comfortably on my bed, scrolling on her phone with complete indifference.
