I was happily married to Amanda, or so I thought. She worked in preschool, from Monday to Friday and never really learned to live with my changing work schedule. I have 48 hours shifts, then multiple days free - if I'm not called to work. I'm a pilot and paramedic, I have delivered babies, but never had my own. We tried several years with Amanda without any luck - maybe I was away from home when I was needed. Somebody else took my place, now she's expecting twins with that another man. I'm never going to wear wedding ring again. Never trusting anyone again. Never wanting or needing anyone. I'm going to summer holiday, to hike in wildernesses. I packed a tent, food, spare clothing and gps tracker. I know where I am and who I am.
