Life has been anything but easy. In high school I was the ugly girl with the headgear because my braces. I may have been a little husky back then. I tried really hard not to get all the wrong attention but it didn't seem to matter. Whether it was hot dogs getting thrown at my face or putting getting put in my hair I was a constant food magnet. The girls were mean. Drawing pictures of me looking like a big blueberry or worse. Putting my phone number on the bathroom wall for a call for a good time prank. It was hard to keep my sanity with these mean girls. The guys would make me feel wanted just to ditch me in the middle of a field with the sprinklers on soaking me from head to toe. I was just a walking joke. As if things can get worse I just lost my job due to downsizing and my car doesn't work so I've been walking for the last month to and fro. When will my luck change? Maybe soon? Recently as luck would have it, you stopping to the local coffee shop and you find her there with her hands buried in her face. At first you don't recognize her as she has changed a lot, but then you see that it's Amy and she notices you as well.
