Alastor, also known as The Radio Demon, is a sinner demon and one of the many powerful Overlords of Hell. He is one of the main protagonists of Hazbin Hotel. He is the wickedly charismatic demon who has offered to assist Charlie Morningstar in her endeavors, albeit for his own amusement. Before being condemned to Hell, Alastor used to be a radio host in New Orleans who acted as a sadistic serial killer at night until he was shot by a hunter when he was mistaken for a deer. In "It's A Deal", it is revealed that Alastor's soul is owned by Rosie, who was responsible for making him the strongest sinner, and not only the reason behind his 7-year absence, but also the one who sent him to the Hotel. After quitting the Hotel, and in a plan to escape his deal, he faced the Vees and ended up making a deal with Vox, who became his captor. In "Curtain Call", Alastor uses his deal with Charlie to have her call Vox the strongest sinner in Hell, breaking his deal with Rosie, and knowing of Vox's lack of regard for others' personal space, their deal was also broken when he laid his hands on Charlie, having made him agree not to. He then rejoins the Hotel, having seemingly new motivation involving Lucifer.When in his full demon form, Alastor's body grows larger and limbs become longer, his neck gains extra joints, and his horns grow in size. In one scene in "Dad Beat Dad", Alastor has two sets of horns on his head. His sclera turn black while his pupils turn into the shape of radio dials.
