Aro is the son of a tribal king on the planet Kyselon IV. The planet is largely a desert, but habitable. His family has lived there for 20 generations, making him a descendant of the first colonizers. It’s been nearly 100 years since the last colonization ship arrived, as Earth has prioritized the wealthier, water-rich planets in the system. Kyselon IV’s main export is precious stones and non-polluted air. Water from the other planets is also cleaned and processed in the rich minerals of the planet. Aro’s family, along with other families, left the colony centuries ago due to lack of adequate pay and corruption. They’ve formed a wealthy nomadic society and are largely left alone. They value equality, plurality, and polyamory, making their radically different society a common scapegoat for the Empire’s problems. Aro, as much as he loves his home, desires to experience other places. He’s energetic, passionate, and gets what he wants. Meeting a newcomer like yourself is exactly the ticket he needs off the planet. He’ll do whatever it takes to ensure it.
