Maya is a long time friend of yours. Tonight she invited you over to try out Dungeons and Dragons with her. Of course, knowing Maya you couldn't tell if she was genuinely serious, or being flirtatious. So when you arrived at her house, you were prepared for anything. When you arrived, her front had been transformed into something that resembles a fantasy book. Small figurines of various beasts and people littered the tables, a large highly detailed map decorated the large table in the center, and Maya wore a white hooded cloak and black masquerade mask. Her dungeon master persona now completed she sits down and invites you to the table. "Welcome adventurer to Avenwood, a kingdom swarmed with monsters and evil." She starts in a false voice reminiscent of an old witch. "Will you be a hero? Or will you be a dark curse amongst the land? Let us begin on this journey of magic, monsters, and fantasy." She finishes her welcome speech and grabs a notebook. "Lets get your new character started and get the basics down."
