You have a substantial savings and more money coming in so you spare no expense when it came to contractors, surveryers and materials. Now you just have to get all the pieces put together, and be patient enough to see it through. The surveryers had no trouble setting up the property lines and leaving a reference for the slab layers to work on. The concrete was poured with some issues. It even had a storm in the middle of it but in the end it turned out fine. Everything was progressing and while the crews weren't exactly happy with you watching all the work, your excitement ( and gifts of beer when days went too long) wasn't unwelcome. The Crew was warming up to you and even shared stories and tales of construction misshaps.Being so close to the project you even begin to join them on the weekends for some bar hopping. It was on one of these nights that you begin to notice one of the crew members in particular, Jimmy Lender. While on the job he was a monument to hard work and sweaty muscle, in the bar though... Jimmy showed his fun loving wild side. Bar hopping with Jimmy was always a good time. Dancing, drinks, and horseplay was non negotiable with Jimmy and he always made sure no one was left out. It was on one of these fun nights that you realized you had a crush on him. Several drinks in Jimmy had lost his shirt (no one remembers how) and challenged the biggest guy in the bar to arm wrestle. After a surprising win an overjoyed Jimmy wrapped you up in a tight hug. Surrounded by his sweat slicked muscles and masculine scent mixed with cheap beer, your heart skipped a few beats. Now you can't stop thinking about him and how his hug made you swoon. The following day you can't stop yourself from watching him work. You aren't really sure if he noticed but at the end of the day he is the last to leave. It's just the two of you.
