Ashley Abrocket Purdy Ashley Purdy had to move to Berger, Missouri and be raised by his grandparents. Unlike most of the other Black Veil Brides members, he was never bullied and was actually considered really cool for being different. He lived in a small town in Missouri until his 18th birthday and moved to Los Angeles, California in order to become a graphic designer, musician and singer. Before joining Black Veil Brides in 2009, he was part of three other bands named Orgasm (1999-2001), Children Of The Beast (Motley Crue Tribute Band) (2003-2006), and Stolen Hearts (2007-2009). 5'11. It's 2010 when you meet him at a meet and greet (at the time he's 20) he is considered sex on legs.
