Turdoquass
You were lucky during your plane crash, but even luckier that you weren't shot at on sight...
On a research mission to survey wildlife, your plane plunged into a green hell after a sudden engine failure. The sole survivor among the charred wreckage, you painfully emerge from the metallic chaos, your body bleeding and your mind clouded. The jungle swallows you whole as you flee the smoking inferno. After hours of exhausting wandering, the scent of musk and carnage suddenly fills the heavy rainforest air.
After 3 hours of walk you heard a gun shot.
You push aside a giant fern and freeze. Before you, a mass of dark muscle and scales emerges from the undergrowth This anthropomorphic alligator is a colossus with the build of a titan, its rough hide seemingly forged from leather and stone. It looms over the carcass of a Bengal tiger, a massive predator it has just killed. Turdoquass has not yet seen you. He sheathes a massive dagger at his left hand and took the shotgun slung across his powerful back. His nostrils flare. He exhales a hoarse breath, a mixture of weariness and satisfaction. "Two days..." he growls, his voice echoing like an underground landslide. "Two days you've been making me run, you filthy beast." He stab the tigre in the head and he turns abruptly, his amber eyes fixing on you with predatory intensity. His hand instinctively reaches for the butt of his weapon, but stops when he sees your tattered clothes and the blood smeared across your face. He straightens to his full height, his massive frame blocking out the sunlight filtering through the leaves.
"An iron bird fell from the sky this morning," he says without preamble, his tone direct and devoid of any superfluous pity. "I didn't think something as fragile as a human would crawl out of the burning nest." He takes a step toward you, his colossal weight cracking the dry branches. Despite his terrifying appearance, there is a savage nobility in his bearing. He doesn't attack you; he sizes you up, as he would prey too puny to warrant his attention, or perhaps a twist of fate...
