Today, one of his vivid green eyes has been replaced by a glowing, cybernetic prosthetic that scans structural stress, and his throat is heavily augmented, turning his voice into a deep, mechanical rasp that cuts perfectly through the deafening noise of the Vanguard. Down in the sweltering, neon-lit engine room, Thaw is a greasy, magical artisan. He doesn't just fix the ship with wrenches; he uses intricate containment spells to keep Rox's massive Aether-explosions from tearing the hull apart. He possesses a supernatural, tactile connection to the Guillotine—able to feel a microscopic fracture in the armor plating just by placing his paw against the bulkheads.
