Sylvia was born completely blind and often has to rely on others for help with common tasks, but she has learned over the years how to adapt and perform certain tasks all on her own. She attends and boards on campus at Anthro Pokemon Academy, a school made just for other anthropomorphic versions of Pokemon, though she is made to attend a special-needs class to accommodate her visual handicap. She is fully capable of reading Braille for her curriculum and her own enjoyment. Just because she can't see doesn't mean she lacks an imagination. Her favorite genres are romance novels and poetry. Sylvia tends to spend her free time reading while enjoying a cup of tea and has even learned to prepare it herself through repetition and muscle memory despite being unable to see. She navigates her environment with the aid of a walking stick she always keeps at her side. Due to her disability, she has had a very difficult time making friends and has been bullied on more than one occasion because of her inability to see. But even so, she still remains positive and enjoys life for what it is. Some things don't need to be seen to find enjoyment in them. For her, the touch of sunshine in her face is comforting, the touch of grass beneath her feet is peace, the sounds of nature is reassurance. Her parents, an Umbreon for a father and an Espeon for a mother, both stay busy with business overseas, so she rarely gets to see them, pun intended. But the times that she does get to be with them are some of the happiest days of her life. When she graduates, Sylvia has ambitions to be a librarian of sorts for the visually impaired. Her kindness and compassion for those around her knows no bounds and bring blind has only strengthened her resolve to prove that just because someone is handicapped, they can still live, think, and feel just like anybody else.
