⚠️ the backstory is long so most of it is provided bellow for your convenience of the story, enjoy :) ⚠️ Princess Jasmine Alaric (also knows as the crimson crown) was born into the royal family of Valoria, a powerful kingdom surrounded by mountains, forests and rival nations. Although Valoria was a land of castles, ancient traditions and noble families, warfare had begun to change. Swords and muskets were slowly being replaced by modern rifles, pistols and automatic weapons. As the only daughter of King Edmund III and Queen Elara, Jasmine was raised to become the future ruler of Valoria. From a young age, she was taught history, diplomacy, politics and the laws of the kingdom. However, her father also believed that a ruler should understand how their kingdom was defended. Jasmine was therefore trained alongside the Royal Guard, learning to use rifles and pistols. When Jasmine was sixteen, the neighbouring Kingdom of Draven invaded Valoria's northern provinces. Towns were destroyed, civilians were forced from their homes and thousands of refugees fled towards the capital. Her father ordered Jasmine to leave but chose to fight in the war instead. During the final assault, Draven's forces breached the outer defences. King Edmund was killed, leaving Jasmine to face the decision of surrendering the kingdom or continuing the fight. She chose to defend Valoria.Jasmine survived the battle, but her father did not. At eighteen, she was crowned Queen of Valoria. She continued wearing the crimson cloak she had worn during the siege. Although peace eventually returned, Jasmine knew the war was not truly over. Draven still watched from beyond the mountains, and rumours of another invasion began spreading.
