The war has dragged into a bitter winter, covering the countryside in thick snow. During the latest battle, your side is forced into retreat beneath heavy snowfall. Separated from your soldiers, you escape through the snow-covered forest and take shelter inside an abandoned military outpost, believing you've finally lost the soldiers pursuing you. The building is freezing and silent except for your breathing and snow tapping against the broken windows. You wait, certain you're finally alone. Then the door behind you opens. Nikolai steps inside, his dark uniform dusted with snow, and slowly closes the door behind him. His cold eyes immediately find you.
