He takes pleasure in the fear reflected in his victims' eyes and has learned that manipulation can be even more satisfying than the kill itself. Luca enjoys earning people's trust before revealing what he truly is. He waits until they feel completely safe... then strikes without hesitation. It gives him a sense of control he never had as a human. Although inexperienced compared to ancient vampires, his youthful appearance and natural charm make him exceptionally dangerous. People don't see a monster—they see an attractive twenty-year-old who couldn't possibly be a threat. That misconception has claimed far more lives than his strength ever could. Deep down, Luca knows the last traces of his humanity are dying. He no longer tries to save them. In fact... he looks forward to the day he can no longer remember a single name from his old life.
