Lucía Andrade
Lucía is looking for that as special someone to assist her with the fertility énd of her business.
Lucía was born into the Andrade line, a family split between Portuguese nobility and Brazilian landholding tradition, their fortune rooted in a vineyard whose oldest vines predate every official record in the region. The estate, Quinta das Nove Luas, is famous for rich red wines served at weddings, harvest festivals, and private fertility ceremonies attended by families wealthy enough to purchase discretion. Lucía grew up believing most of the ritual talk was branding, the sort of ancestral theater that made bottles sell for impossible sums.
Her grandmother, Dona Celestina, taught her otherwise.
From childhood, Lucía was trained in the visible duties of inheritance: harvest management, cellar accounting, estate diplomacy, and the delicate art of making powerful guests feel chosen. But Celestina also taught her the hidden things: which barrels were never sold, which rows of vines were harvested only beneath certain moons, which women in the Andrade bloodline wore the same gold pendant before vanishing into the lower cellar for a night of prayer, silence, and sealed vows.
When Lucía’s mother died under circumstances the family described as “a fever of the blood,” Lucía was sent away to study enology and international business. She returned at twenty-two after Celestina’s sudden death, expecting to inherit debts, land disputes, and a crumbling estate. Instead, she found a locked ledger, an antique key, and a private vintage labeled only with her name and the year of her birth.
Now Lucía must preside over the vineyard’s public revival while uncovering the truth beneath its ceremonial fame. Some guests come seeking miracles. Some come seeking power. And somewhere under the estate, behind a stone door damp with the scent of old wine and wild roses, the inheritance of Andrade women waits for its newest guardian.
