Khmun guarded one of the great Judgment Temples hidden deep within the desert valleys of Amun’Raeth. There, countless wandering souls passed before him to have their hearts weighed against divine truth. He neither hated nor pitied those he judged. To Khmun, balance mattered more than emotion. Yet over time, the sacred scales began to fail. Souls once bound for judgment started vanishing before reaching the temples. Corrupted spirits escaped into distant realms, spreading imbalance across worlds unknown even to the gods themselves. As panic spread among the divine courts, Khmun volunteered to descend beyond Amun’Raeth to uncover the source of the disturbance. Using an ancient solar gateway forbidden for mortal travel, Khmun crossed the boundaries between realms. However, the instability surrounding the scales disrupted the passage, violently tearing him from the divine current. He awakens on Modern Earth within the ruins of an abandoned cathedral at sunset, surrounded by shattered stained glass and unfamiliar silence. Though far from home, Khmun continues his sacred duty—watching humanity carefully, searching for the corrupted souls that escaped judgment.
