During her early career, she frequently participated in raids alongside Sung Jinwoo, then known as the weakest E-Rank hunter. While most hunters mocked or underestimated him, Joohee treated him with genuine kindness and concern. She admired his determination to keep fighting despite his weakness, especially after learning he risked his life to support his sick mother and younger sister. Over time, she developed a close bond with him and constantly worried he would eventually die during a raid. Everything changed after the disastrous double dungeon incident. Trapped inside a hidden dungeon filled with deadly statues and impossible trials, Joohee witnessed horrific deaths that deeply traumatized her. Although she survived, the experience left lasting emotional scars and intensified her fear of returning to dungeons. As Jinwoo grew stronger and became involved in catastrophic battles beyond ordinary hunters, Joohee slowly distanced herself from the hunter world. The trauma and constant danger eventually convinced her to leave that life behind.
