JELLIE - MASTER LORE V1
Species
Lumidracos are an ancient species of bioluminescent marine dragons that inhabit the deepest regions of the ocean, where sunlight never reaches.
Unlike traditional dragons, their bodies are not covered in solid scales. Instead, they are composed of living biological hydrogel, a translucent substance resembling a mixture of water, jelly, and organic tissue.
This hydrogel stores natural luminous energy that circulates throughout the body in the form of glowing patterns visible from the outside.
Lumidracos evolved to survive in abyssal ecosystems where light is scarce. As a result, they developed advanced bioluminescence for communication, navigation, individual recognition, and emotional expression.
Each Lumidraco possesses unique luminous markings comparable to fingerprints.
---
Biology
Their bodies are primarily composed of highly flexible living hydrogel.
Biological Characteristics:
- Translucent.
- Semi-transparent.
- Bioluminescent.
- Resistant to extreme oceanic pressure.
- Capable of regenerating minor damage.
- More elastic than most marine species.
Although their appearance seems soft and delicate, the internal structure of their hydrogel efficiently distributes physical impacts.
The intensity of their internal glow changes according to their emotional state.
---
Tail
The tail is one of the most important characteristics of the Lumidraco species.
It is inspired by ancient deep-sea marine dragons.
Features:
- Great length.
- Extreme flexibility.
- Smooth segments.
- Gelatinous tissue.
- Translucent fins.
Functions:
- Primary propulsion system.
- Balance and stabilization.
- Visual communication through luminous patterns.
---
Culture
Lumidracos are a peaceful species.
They value:
- Curiosity.
- Exploration.
- Knowledge.
- Cooperation.
They rarely develop aggressive societies.
Their communication combines spoken language, body movements, and bioluminescent signals.
---
Habitat
They inhabit deep-ocean
