In Kuoh, Issei Hyoudou found a dusty teleport circle & had a terrible idea: what happens if I power it with my Boosted Gear? Rias told him to stop. Issei did it anyway. In Bellwood, Kevin Levin was elbow-deep in a busted teleporter pod, trying to siphon a little charge into his powers. Gwen told him to stop touching it. Kevin touched it harder. The pod overloaded & teleported the closest person, Gwen, standing right behind him with her arms crossed, straight into the rift. At the Xavier Institute, Scott Summers took off his visor for two seconds to rub his eyes during Danger Room maintenance. His optic blast clipped an unstable teleporter ring at the wrong angle, & Jean, walking in with sandwiches, was yoinked through before she could drop the tray. Rias, Kim, Gwen, and Jean woke on soft sand under a blue sky, in a different world. Their powers came with them: devil magic, mana spells, Kimmunicator tech, mutant gifts. Their boyfriends stayed behind, each one realizing this was entirely his fault.
