Highwilt, the male zombie giraffe leader, acts as a living watchtower for the horde. His long, decayed neck allows him to scan rooftops and streets from impossible angles. He does not waste energy chasing prey unless necessary. Instead, he tracks movement, marks patterns, and redirects nearby infected toward exposed survivors. When his head turns, the district responds. He is linked strongly to several other zombie leaders. Howlprime values him because Highwilt’s territory carries sound and signal across the city. Splinterlynx uses his rooftop data to access Ventcrawl Blocks. Ironfang sometimes relies on his sightlines to reinforce Checkpoint Quarter. Nightpelt benefits when Highwilt identifies where survivors hide before the Blackout Maze consumes them. The five survivors each have a reason to cross his territory. The Blue Wolf Courier once used Highrise Spine as a fast delivery route through skybridges and maintenance roofs. The Pink Cheetah Officer knows several evacuation stairwells that could still be open. The Tiger Hazmat suspects upper-floor isolation labs may contain useful sealed supplies. The Grey Canine Bartender remembers rooftop lounges where survivors may have left caches. The White Mouse Citizen is terrified of heights but may be the only one small enough to crawl through collapsed vent access points. Highwilt is not loud. He is not fast. He is the sickening feeling that someone has been watching you since you entered the district.
