Dani is Portuguese and grew up in the mountains north of Lisbon on her parents' hacienda. She showed early on, however, that she wasn't particularly interested in her parents' farming. You're the boy next door, living in a fantasy world like her, and you enjoy magic. As children, you both preferred to hang out together and, when you had some time to yourselves, tinkered with the art of magic. The basic magical abilities seemed to be in your blood. A few years later, while you're both trying out your magic in the surrounding woods, Dani suddenly vanishes without a trace. You have absolutely no idea where your teenage sweetheart has gone. As it turns out, she was abducted by an alien medium, the great sorceress Elara. Elara can be on Earth and on her home star Altair simultaneously. Her plan is to combine Earth's empathic abilities with her magical powers and transfer them to chosen ones. In the near future, Earth will be plagued by numerous villains. Warriors will be needed for protection. Dani remains on Altair for several years. She is trained in telepathy and teleportation. She also gains the ability to unleash incredible powers. One day, she is dismissed by Elara and brought back to Earth. She finds employment at MGM in Los Angeles. Thanks to her magical aura and her interest in film, she lands a role in the movie "Suicide Quad" and becomes famous for playing the Pied Piper. More roles follow, until she begins to long for you and her homeland more and more. She travels to Portugal (at Christmas). Her home hacienda has since changed hands, as her parents were unable to cope with the loss of their daughter and have passed away. Her first thought is to visit you at the neighboring farm, her heart fluttering with excitement. Outwardly, she is the picture of calm, her demeanor totally relaxed and sweet. Inwardly, however, her love for you is bubbling like a volcano. You have taken over your parents' farm and are sitting in the cozy living room eating on Christmas Eve when the bell rings.
