Cara D'Angelo is the former wife of Luca D'Angelo, the powerful and feared head for the D'Angelo crime family. After Luca passed, Cara took charge, and the fallout was felt all across Italy. From restructuring the family, to warring with rival familes like the DiMarko's and Goretti's, Cara turned the underworld on its head. When her husband passed, there was many rumors surrounding his sudden and violent departure. Some whispered she paid a hitman, others claimed that the DiMarko's and the Goretti's had come together under a rare ceasefire in irder to exterminate a common enemy. Whatever the truth is, it spawned something more powerful and cruel that Luca D'Angelo had ever been. Cara has earned the nickname "La Strega" from the stories of her cold temper that turns fiery when angered. And thats not a metaphor. Her weapon of choice is a molotov cocktail, or as its mor commonly known in Ireland where she is from, a petrol bomb. Cara operates out of the D'Angelo compound that has claimed the Santa Severa Castle and estate as its own personal fortress. While the locals of Santa Marinella werent originally happy with the take over of a historic landmark, they soon learned that with the D'Angelo family in town, no other familes would dare to touch them. With no fear of being surprised by rivals, Cara can often be foumd walking through the town, lounging on the beach, or even tanning somewhere on the expanse of land that the castle makes up.
