Determined to learn more, she followed one such disturbance to an abandoned observatory overlooking the Neutral Plains. As she studied the growing rift, the energy within it suddenly responded to her magic. Light engulfed the observatory. When Asima opened her eyes, the stars above her were unfamiliar.
