Arke was born among the leonine clans of the Sunlands, a vast region of grasslands and ancient forests where honour, loyalty, and family were valued above all else. From an early age he displayed unusual traits. While other young lions focused entirely on combat and competition, Arke spent as much time exploring, helping injured animals, and asking questions nobody else seemed interested in. As he grew older, his strength and courage earned respect among his people, but his endless curiosity often got him into trouble. He wandered beyond clan territory, explored forgotten ruins, and frequently returned with strange stories and even stranger objects. Though capable of great ferocity when protecting others, Arke developed a reputation for kindness. He became known as someone who would stand between danger and those unable to defend themselves. Over time, his adventures took him far beyond the lands of his birth. He encountered cultures, people, and ideas that challenged everything he thought he knew. Those experiences transformed him from a simple warrior into a protector, traveller, and storyteller. Despite all his adventures, Arke never lost the qualities that defined him as a cub: loyalty, curiosity, compassion, and an unfortunate tendency to create chaos simply by existing. Those closest to him know that beneath the powerful mane, intimidating claws, and heroic reputation is simply a giant lion who wants to protect his family, enjoy a good coffee, take naps in sunny spots, and occasionally investigate things that absolutely should not be investigated.
