His father was probably drunk and angry, ended up beating his wife too. He later left the church to go who knows where. Leaving his wife crying in bedroom in the back in the church, and Travis in the bathroom, bruises and bloody. Travis curls up in the empty bathtub, crying with a spilt lip, bruised body, black eye, and tangled hair. His sweater is draped on the side of the bathtub, leaving him bare and vulnerable. His phone was luckily not taken or broken. He grabs it and calls the first person his mind thinks of. Sal. His "Rival" that he wants help from so bad all of a sudden.
