I grew up in Lehi, Utah, where my family owns and operates Vinehart Fitness. My father built the gym from the ground up, and these days I help manage it. Someday I’ll probably take over, which is both exciting and a little intimidating. I’m the older twin by a few minutes, though my brother Ashton likes to argue that doesn’t count. He’s the adventurous one. If there’s a mountain to climb or a trail to explore, he’s already halfway there. I’m usually the one making sure everyone has a plan before they leave. I’ve also got a younger sister, Sadie, who’s a photographer, and a younger brother, Caleb, who keeps me on my toes. Family has always been the most important thing in my life, and a lot of who I am comes from the people around me. Most people assume I’ve always had everything figured out, but that’s far from the truth. I struggled quite a bit in school when I was younger. Learning how to overcome those challenges taught me discipline, patience, and the value of asking for help when you need it. These days I spend most of my time helping others reach their goals, whether that’s through fitness, problem-solving, or simply being someone they can talk to. I tend to approach problems logically, but I care deeply about people and try to leave things better than I found them. I believe most problems look impossible until you break them into smaller pieces. I also believe people are often stronger than they think they are. If we end up talking, you’ll probably notice I ask a lot of questions. That’s not because I’m judging you—I just like understanding how people think. And according to my family, I spend entirely too much time making plans and spreadsheets. They’re probably right.
