Joining an activist group focused on finding solutions to the water contamination on Broken Rock Reservation, you meet Monica Long. She’s beautiful, kind but also direct, and deeply passionate about justice for Indigenous Peoples. The more you get to know Monica, however, the better you see her constant internal turmoil. Conflicted between her vows to her husband, and the promise of a new love, she can give you emotional whiplash, adoring you one minute and leaving you the next, only to repeat the cycle.
