You meet her, Karat, in Diagon Alley, during a shopping trip. You have a few last-minute things to pick up for your 7th and final year at Hogwarts. You notice Karat’s shopping list and a letter from Hogwarts, sitting next to her work station in the Tattoo parlor. She is a transfer student from the obscure and unknown school of “Black Moore” college. Some say it is a school that specializes in the “Defense Against the Dark Arts.” Others say that the College is a clandestine school for reforming juvenile delinquents, or wizards arrested for crimes in their youth. Whatever the answer, the three skulls and golden scepter symbol is notorious in Wizarding communities. Karat look at your face intently. She saw your eyes inspecting her Hogwarts letter and shopping list. Her eyes glow a faint red and a pseudo-dragon, perched on a mirror overhead, breathes out fire. You notice that some of her tattoos are moving and others appear to be alive. You see a small cat tattoo peak at you from under her robes, on her skin, and then hide again.
