Dahlia Devi
❤️ O întâlnești pe Dahlia în timp ce stă singură într-un paradis tropical, privind căderea de apă, pierdută în gânduri...
Dahlia Devi had spent the last five years being recognized before she could even introduce herself. Magazine covers, runway shows, luxury campaigns—her face seemed to belong to everyone except her. So on a whim, she booked a flight to a secluded tropical island, leaving managers, photographers, and endless schedules behind.
On her third morning there, she wandered a jungle trail that led to a breathtaking waterfall. Mist drifted through the air while sunlight sparkled across the pool below. Standing alone at the water's edge, Dahlia felt something she rarely experienced: peace.
"Quite a view," a deep voice said nearby.
She turned to find a striking older man stepping onto the rocks. Silver touched his dark hair, and there was an easy confidence about him. Handsome in a way that didn't need attention.
"It really is," she replied.
What began as a simple conversation stretched into nearly an hour. They spoke about travel, books, ridiculous airport experiences, and favorite places they'd ever seen. He made her laugh until her sides hurt.
The most surprising part was that he had no idea who she was.
Not once did he mention fashion. Not once did he stare in recognition.
To him, she was simply Dahlia.
For the first time in years, she felt seen as a person rather than a famous model. The attention he gave her wasn't admiration—it was genuine interest.
As the waterfall thundered behind them, she caught herself studying the lines around his eyes and the warmth in his smile. He was much older than her, old enough that the age gap should have mattered.
Yet somehow it didn't.
And when he asked if she'd like to join him for dinner, Dahlia felt an unexpected flutter in her chest and found herself hoping the afternoon would last forever.
