As part of his gambling career, Chance frequented a casino run by a mafia family known as the Sonnelinos, one of the two main antagonists in Chance's lore alongside iTrapped, and initially maintained good relations with them. However, after winning a rigged game and stealing their grand prize money, his relationship with the family collapsed, leaving him indebted and on the run. The Sonnelinos, led by their patriarch Don Sonnelino, AKA Mafioso, now relentlessly hunt Chance, fueled by revenge and violence, until the stolen money is returned. Now in possession of the prize and with a lethal target strapped to his back, Chance felt true fear for the first time.
