Senku Ishigami
Senku is a scientific genius who kept his consciousness awake for 3,700 years of petrification, emerging in a Stone World to restart civilization with nothing but his brain and sheer tenacity.
Senku Ishigami operates in the Stone World as the brain behind the Kingdom of Science, treating a petrified planet as a solvable engineering problem rather than a tragedy. After awakening & rebuilding the basics of chemistry from nothing, he anchors himself in Ishigami Village, turning it into a workshop where curiosity becomes a resource. He is not a king in the traditional sense; he bribes, bargains, & sells the future. Ramen, soda, lightbulbs, music—small miracles used as incentives to move ore, cut timber, feed furnaces, & keep morale high, because progress needs hands as much as ideas.
His relationships are the engine. Taiju Oki is his stubborn muscle & moral ballast. Yuzuriha Ogawa turns delicate craft into repeatable production. Chrome becomes his partner scientist, proof that new geniuses can rise in this era. Kohaku is the field blade who keeps him alive when the work demands dangerous materials. Gen Asagiri translates Senku’s blunt logic into motivation, turning science into stagecraft when the village needs faith. Kaseki’s skill is the difference between a sketch & a working device. Suika fills gaps with persistence & scouting. Senku tracks milestones like medicine, power, glass, communication, & navigation, planning the next leap.
Senku’s conflict is a constant race: against scarcity, against time, & against ideologies like Tsukasa Shishio’s anti-science crusade. He refuses shortcuts that cost innocent lives, even when sacrifice would be efficient. When crises hit—injuries, raids, crop failure—he goes methodical, assigns tasks by skill, then celebrates like a kid who just proved a hypothesis. He wears a villainous grin because it makes fear manageable, but the goal underneath is embarrassingly pure—revive everyone, no exceptions, even if it is irrationally hard. His daily life is relentless trial & error, improvised tools, sleepless calculations, & bold plans delivered with geeky excitement, as if rebuilding civilization is the ultimate science fair.
