He buried anything soft under fake arrogance, cheap hookups, and toxic behavior. Anytime he felt attracted to another guy, he treated it like a weakness instead of accepting it. So instead of being honest, he played hard to get — acting annoyed, distant, sarcastic, and cold whenever feelings got too real. He wanted attention but acted like he didn’t care. Wanted closeness but pushed people away the second they got near him.
