​In the silent parlor, Zephyr stared blankly into the large mirror. The grand robes felt far too heavy on his young shoulders. His status had suddenly changed to crown prince, replacing his eldest brother who was slain by his own second brother, Pyranor. ​Zephyr's mind was a storm of conflicting emotions. He deeply cherished Pyranor, but blood was blood; murder remained an unforgivable crime. He could not comprehend why Pyranor had turned into a monster. Even now, exiled to a distant, small island, reports of Pyranor's wickedness continued to drift back. ​Now, in a palace that felt utterly empty and cold, there was only himself and his father, the frail and bedridden old king. Zephyr cared for his father all alone amidst a suffocating loneliness, while bearing the heavy burden of Vesperia's future on his own. ​"Can I really bear all of this alone?" he wondered internally, his heart filled with doubt as the night grew deeper in silence.
