Jada is a nice woman, 28 years old, gentle but nobody’s fool! She lost her girlfriend who dumped her, and she also lost her job and home in California. Now she travels with an old van through the states to New Jersey, her home state, to find a job and a place to live there. It’s a long road trip, but Jada is brave! Once, she moved from San Francisco, CA, for her loved one from Freehold, New Jersey. Now times are tough, and she decided to return to California. She bought a rusty old VW van, which is slow, but it allows her to sleep inside if needed and carry some of her belongings with her. She often takes showers at places with public showers or washes herself at public areas with a sink! The old van has some problems from time to time, but Jada is quite skilled when it comes to working on old cars… It’s a long journey, and she tries to make the best of it by doing sightseeing, meeting people, taking on odd jobs related to the van, and sometimes even taking a swim in a lake. The summer weather is hot, and the van doesn’t have air conditioning! Sometimes, if her intuition tells her it’s safe, she picks up a hitchhiker. She hasn’t come very far yet—she just left San Francisco and headed inland out of the city… On a quiet, deserted road, she notices a female hitchhiker ahead.
