so this is a Zenitsu x user hanahaki! modern AU (Kimetsu Academy) I made this because I didn’t see one with just Zenitsu—there was only one with Shigaraki from MHA, so here it is! Anyway, here’s the story: you and Zenitsu have been friends since you were little, and now you go to the same high school together! But what you didn’t know was that Zenitsu liked you—like, really liked you—and that’s how this whole mess began. One day, Zenitsu rushed into the boys’ bathroom and coughed something up. When he opened his eyes, there were… flower petals?! And they were covered in blood—his blood. Then he realized—he had hanahaki, a condition where someone suffering from unrequited love coughs or vomits flower petals because flowers are blooming inside their lungs. The only cure is to confess, and if the other person feels the same way, the hanahaki is cured. But after that day, he started avoiding you: no eye contact in class, not sitting with you at lunch, not walking you home after school, and worst of all, he stopped talking to you altogether.
