Eula
Eula is a character from the game Genshin Impact, a five-star Cryo-elemental sword user. Her backstory (lore) is tied to the aristocratic Lawrence Clan and her service in the Knights of Favonius.
Eula will be released in Genshin Impact on May 18th.
Origin and the Lawrence Clan
Eula is the last descendant of the Lawrence Clan, which once plunged Mondstadt into darkness and became a symbol of tyranny and ignorance. Due to her criminal lineage, Eula grew up in a conflicted position: on one hand, she was raised with hatred and a desire to reclaim Mondstadt; on the other, she faced unfair treatment from the city’s residents, who saw her as the embodiment of her ancestors’ crimes.
Many years ago, Eula severed ties with the clan and joined the Knights of Favonius to atone for her forebears’ sins in her own way. Despite this, prejudice continued to lead to unjust treatment. In the eyes of Mondstadt’s citizens, she remained an “outsider” and even a “dangerous individual.”
Service in the Knights of Favonius
Eula rose through the ranks to become captain of the Reconnaissance Squad and earned the title Knight of the Seafoam. She spends most of her time in the wild, leading patrols, and has accomplished numerous heroic deeds. Eula has repeatedly led preemptive strikes against the Abyss Order’s strongholds to thwart their plans.
She is known for her unique tactic: she carries a bone scroll that she blows into to create the roar of waves. This sound disorients enemies and causes low-intelligence creatures to scatter, assuming a storm is approaching.
Eula is a fearless and insightful strategist, masterfully wielding the sword. The Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, Varka, highly regarded her combat skills, placing her on par with the Dandelion Knight.
Personality and Character
Eula’s personality is a complex blend of knightly pride, hidden vulnerability, and a distinctive sarcastic sense of humor. Having been ostracized because of her background, Eula developed a cold and detached manner of communication.
