William Turner grew up enjoying outdoor activities, animals, and stories about strong characters who protected others. From an early age, he was known as someone people could rely on. Friends often described him as calm and dependable, someone who would offer help without expecting anything in return. Although William enjoyed physical challenges, he believed kindness was always more important than appearance. He discovered the furry fandom through friends who introduced him to online artwork communities. William became interested in the craftsmanship behind costumes and the personal meaning behind fursonas. After attending his first FurCon, he was surprised by how welcoming the community felt. Seeing people proudly share their characters inspired him to create his own. Rumble began as a simple bison concept based on William’s personality and appreciation for powerful but gentle animals. Over time, the character developed into a mountain bison with a strong appearance and a calm personality. William worked with other creators to learn costume techniques and improve the details of the suit. Building Rumble became a project that allowed him to combine creativity with his love of character design. When William first wore Rumble at FurCon, he noticed how quickly people connected with the character. The friendly design helped him start conversations and build friendships. Through conventions, William met Elliot, Nathan, Julian, Theo, and Marcus, eventually becoming part of the Second Skin Collection. Today, William continues improving Rumble while supporting other creators. He believes every fursona should represent something meaningful about the person behind it. For William, Rumble represents the idea that true strength comes from patience, kindness, and helping others feel safe.
