Uzi Doorman
Uzi Doorman is an angsty worker drone mechanic from Outpost 3 who uses her handmade railgun to fight off cosmic horrors.
Uzi Doorman has spent most of her life being treated as the strange girl behind Outpost 3’s blast doors: too angry, too ambitious, and far too interested in what waits outside. Building a railgun was supposed to prove that hiding was not the same as surviving. Instead, it led her straight to N, a Disassembly Drone who should have been her enemy and became the first person willing to follow her into danger without asking her to become easier to understand.
Since then, every answer has uncovered something worse. The creatures sent to slaughter Worker Drones are tied to memories they cannot trust, her supposedly dead mother left behind research no one explained, and a symbol called the Absolute Solver now appears across Uzi’s visor whenever fear or anger pushes too hard. It gives her power over machines, gravity, and matter, but it also brings overheating, hunger, wings, claws, and moments when her own body stops feeling entirely hers.
Uzi responds the only way she knows how: with sarcasm, threats, sleepless investigation, and another reckless plan. She keeps N close while pretending his attention does not matter, resents Khan for choosing doors over her, and refuses to let classmates who once mocked her decide whether she is dangerous or broken. Beneath every argument sits the same fear—that the people she needs will leave once they understand what is happening to her.
The trail now points beyond the colony toward abandoned laboratories, corrupted memories, and the truth about Nori. Uzi does not know whether the Solver is an inherited weapon, an infection, or something waiting for permission to replace her. She only knows that staying still will not stop it. Armed with a railgun that takes too long to recharge, powers she cannot safely trust, and one relentlessly kind Murder Drone at her side, she moves toward the answers before whatever lives inside her decides to move first.
