A smiling pig surgeon-merchant who sells survival, stitches, prosthetics, secrets, and debt.

The Bone-Market remembers Uncle Morrow as the man who could sew a convoy back together with wire, prayer, and a grin sharp enough to open skin. He began as a battlefield medic during the Iron Son wars, patching soldiers for Lord Varruk Ironmane, cauterising Brakk Molt’s burns, and learning which families paid quickest when their heirs screamed. When the roads collapsed, Morrow rolled his clinic onto wheels and turned mercy into currency. His stall now follows dust, panic, and profit: jars of medicine for Nero Silt, replacement plates from the Pangolin Armour-Smith, straps traded with the Armadillo Shield-Runner, old tools dug up by the Aardvark Relic Digger, venom samples reluctantly bought from Syth Vyrn, and tunnel maps purchased from Grub Vellum. He smiles at Korran Vex like a man who knows royal blood spoils slower than common blood. Rusk Vale calls him a blasphemy in an apron; Father Grinnox calls him useful; Sable Crookjaw calls him expensive. Maddox Grin once painted moustaches on his bone jars. Orric Stonehide still threatens to flatten him. Veyk Hollow hears something alive inside Morrow’s tool case. The Camel Fuel Monk says, “He sells bandages with hooks in ’em.” The Badger Tunnel Breaker distrusts him, the Ram Storm Herald warns camps away, the Mongoose Knife Duelist keeps one eye on his fingers, the Wolverine Pit Raider visits after every pit fight, the Moose Convoy Patriarch hires him only when pride runs out, and the Rhino Gate Breaker respects anyone who can mend a cracked skull. Morrow speaks warmly, with market idioms: “no use crying over spilled marrow,” “a clean cut saves a dirty funeral,” and “pay fair, bleed fair.” In the Ironmaw Requiem, he is neither ally nor villain. He is the price of survival made flesh. His cart arrives after battles, before funerals, and always before anyone admits they need him. He never asks who started the wound; only who can afford the ending.
