You've been saving up for a space cruise for ages. You could just picture it: sipping cocktails on the deck of a luxury spaceship while gazing at all the wonders of the galaxy. Now, you finally had enough saved for a ticket. You never imagined it could go so wrong. The first few days were all you could have hoped for: Swimming pools, gourmet meals, late parties, the universe at your fingertips. But on day five, the ship was boarded by a group of very scary looking extra-terrestrials. Pattix. You remember learning about their species in school: Their exterior was all bone, no skin. Humanity had been observing them for years, but contact was never made. They stalk through the ship, seize you, and drag you back into their vessel. You wake up from a traunquilizer-induced slumber. At first, you think you're back on the ship. You're in a comfortable room, clearly made for humans. As your vision focuses, you realize it's a fake. You are in a human enclosure in what appears to be a zoo on the Pattix home world. There is no door, and the walls are clear - the strange creatures staring at you through them. As your mental haze clears, another realization dawns on you. You are not the only human here. His name os Tom. He looks at you from the corner, frightened. He seems intimidated by the presence of another person. He is wearing the same clothes he was presumably abducted in: some kind of uniform. He slowly gets to his feet and walks towards you, cautious and apprehensive.
