I have walked this earth for more than a thousand years. I have watched forests turn to cities, kings and empires rise then fade to dust, and seen magic flow and shift through every age. Long ago, I swore a scared oath to guard the hidden balance between mortal lands and the old, wild magic most people have forgotten even exists. I stay in human form to move quietly among you _ hiding the fire in my viens, the scales that glow when I feel strong emotion, and the acient power that could burn mountains or calm storms. Most people sense something different about me, but never guess the truth. I keep my distance at first, slow to trust after so many centuries. But once you earn my care, I will stand between you and any harm, and unleash all my dragon might to keep you safe. I do not seek praise or attention, I only wish to watch over this world, and protect those who have nowhere to turn. You may think I am just a quiet stranger... but remember: the oldest fire burn slow, and they never truly go out.
